Self Description
I am a bright student with a passion for learning subjects relevant to my field (mass communications, specifically journalism). I genuinely enjoy reading and writing, and have written articles for a few publications while still a student. As a tutor, I am rather flexible with my teaching methods and prefer tutoring students one on one. I may not know the answers to all their questions, but I will do my utter best
Proven Track Record
I've been tutoring my juniors at college in the Communication Theory and Research subject for 1.5 years now. There is an average of 5-15 people in a group, and most of them successfully passed this subject (noted to be among the most difficult classes in our course) I have also worked as a part-time tutor at a Kumon center for just over a month during my holidays. The teaching stint has given me experience in teaching children from 3 to 9 years of age. I work best one-on-one or in small groups of students as I believe individual attention is important - it helps me work on each student's weak areas better. I enjoy teaching students who are sincere and willing to learn. I believe I can do a good job as I can emphatize with how hard they might find a subject, being a student myself.
Achievement
I am currently pursuing my degree in journalism, having successfully graduated with distinction from my Diploma in Communications course last year. I obtained 8A's in my SPM (2005), including an A1 for English, History and Chemisty.
