Self Description
            I have taught students from Std 1-5 mostly from their home on 1 to 1 basis & group tuition too but would prefer 2-3 students the most. I specialize on mostly English & Math & occasional BM. I have approximately 6 years of experience from coaching students since I was at College. After graduating, I started working till now whereby I am taking a break from my full time job. I prefer teaching 1 on 1 basis as the student would get my attention and they are able to excel faster this way. From experience, most of my students improved in the subjects taught when guided & given attention & time to perform as most of their parents were unable to guide their studies/homework due to work commitments & etc. I had a student's parent who requested that I just concentrate on his son's homework from school and to just teach him English using the Singapore syllabus as he knew I was capable of guiding him through it. During classes, I use workbooks similar to what is taught at school to guide them. Exams weeks will be concentrated on going through their term work to refresh their memories & geared towards minimal error. At times, I would prepare my own set of questions to test my students. I always trust that when students lack the guidance from parents especially in their studies, students tend to lose interest, unmotivated & confidence to study / read by themselves thus the responsibility of a tuition teacher is deem important as the guiding force behind their studies.
Proven Track Record
            I taught a Std 3 girl who scored 0% in the beginning for Math to a passing 50%. Generally, all my previous students result showed improvement & their parents were happy to see the improvement.
Achievement
           I have a degree in BSc. in Business Administration, Upper Iowa University, Iowa, USA. I had gone for courses & exam for the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) conducted at British Council & passed their exam comprising of Speaking, Comprehension, Writing & Understanding.
