Self Description
            I am an American married to Malaysian citizen. I have been teaching one on one tuition since I was 17 years old. I am very patient, mild, and understanding teacher. I like to have a down to earth relationship with the students and teach in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.
Proven Track Record
            I am looking for students who'd like to improve in their English speaking, reading and writing skills. I have been trained how to teach people to think and express their thoughts, and to analyze paragraphs and understand the meanings of the text. I use a variety of teaching methods, including games, reading stories, and talking about everyday life. I like to use some non-traditional teaching methods to hold the attention of the student. I believe that reading and understanding what you are reading is one of the best ways to improve your English skills since it uses: reading, speaking, listening, and researching.
Achievement
           At one tuition center I helped the students to perform a drama/play on stage live in front of an audience. At S'park shopping center, July 2011.
