Self Description	I've worked with students who range in age from 4 to 12 years. My classes have been conducted in individual sessions as well as small groups. We have explored the English language and its uses as a medium that enables thought and communication. In practice, this has meant that I have encouraged my students to think, read, speak and write in English. I can promise a tutoring session that is conducted at each individual's pace, and with consideration for each individual's abilities. I enjoy working with students whose performance in the language is sub-par, and enabling them to progress in it. Additionally, I hope that my students will take away a love for the English language, and an excitement for reading and making meaning. Areas of focus would include reading and comprehension, composition as well as speaking and listening. My aim is to help students not just pass state examinations, but to provide them with essential life skills.
