Self Description
            I am a dedicated and hardworking teacher who has years of experience teaching in a top secondary school in Singapore. I have many teaching resources (e.g. notes/ exam papers from different schools etc) to share and can easily tailor my lessons to your individual needs and weaknesses. I will focus on all aspects of the English Language - Comprehension and summary writing, Composition, functional writing and the oral. My lessons are easy to understand and fun and interesting and I am a patient and humorous teacher. I possess an excellent command of the English Language (both spoken and written) and am looking to help children and adults master the English Language to achieve greater success in their lives. I am a fantastic Literature teacher as well. Apart from teaching in a school environment, I have also taught one to one tuition for a few years. I can relate to adults as well as young children and teenagers and am friendly and approachable. I am a great motivator and am confident of helping you or your child get interested in the subject and soar to greater heights. My fees are negotiable and my timings are flexible (weekdays or weekends are fine). I can even provide a place for tuition (my condo) if it is inconvenient to have tuition at your place. If you and your friends form a tuition group, my charges will be significantly less. So,do not hesitate! Proven Track Record
            I have been entrusted to teach many O Level English and Literature (pure and elective) classes in my previous school (one of the top schools in Singapore) and my students have produced excellent results. In the 2007 GCE 'O' Level examinations, my English class produced 72% distinctions and my Pure Literature class produced 78% distinctions! My Elective Literature classes produced 80% distinctions!
Achievement
           I graduated with Merit from the National University of Singapore (BA in English and Sociology) in 2000 and then joined the National Institute of Education from 2000 to 2001 and graduated with a post-degree diploma in Education (in English and English Literature).
