Self Description
            I am currently teaching 3rd formers in a local private school. Having returned to Malaysia after 5 years living and studying in Australia doing my Bachelors in Law, I subsequently returned to Malaysia and graduated in a local university with a degree in English, having majored in literature. English has always been my passion and I hope that in my teachings as well as learnings, I would be able to enlighten students on the different facets of English as well as the fun one can have while learning a global language. In my opinion, learning English is much more than continuous execution of grammar and comprehension exercises. In my classes,I find that the best way to enable students to better understand and grasp the language is to 'live' within the language (movies, songs, newspapers, magazines, communication workshops). I find that this way students not only learn to understand the key aspects of grammar but also come to enjoy using the language in their own time. Learning English should not feel like a burdensome task for the students, but rather a nurturing hobby.
Proven Track Record
            I believe that in order to do well, students must firstly enjoy what they're studying. But I can confidently say that most students in my class enjoy English and have a very different approach to the subject and its contents and perform remarkably well in terms of vocabulary and grammar.
