            I am a working professional, specialising in communication. While I am just starting out as a part-time tutor, my educational and professional background has tremendously enhanced my English language skill, and I strongly believe I am able to share my knowledge and passion for the language with young students. English is one of my strong subjects while I was in high school and university, scoring A's in all major exams. I am still passionate for this universal language, being involved in a lot of corporate and creative writing in my current job. Besides being highly capable in correct grammar usage, I am also knowledgeable in various writing styles -- these are among the areas that I would consider as my forte. If you are looking for someone to enhance your English, written or spoken, let's talk and see how I can help you. For Muslim students who would like to improve their Al-Quran reading, or simply wish to ensure that they are reading it correctly, I will be happy to guide and assist you. Quran-reading is another one of my strong capabilities, having awarded top 3 positions in some of the Quran-reading competitions that I have entered throughout the years.

           I graduated in Actuarial Science from the University of Iowa, USA. While my education background has developed my analytical skill, one of my true passions and strengths is in language and communication, particularly in English. It has always been my favourite subjects, and I have always excelled in it, be it in grammar or writing.
